Research Interests
Dr. Sameer Ahmed received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Vision from Institute Pascal, University Blaise Pascal, France. The title of his PhD thesis was “Application of a Dataflow Programming Language to the High Level Synthesis of Real Time Vision Systems on Reconfigurable Hardwareâ€. Earlier he did his BS and MS, both in Computer Science from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad in 2004 and 2007 respectively. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Namal College, Mianwali. His research interests include Parallel Computing for Systems Biology, Grid Computing Infrastructures, Programming Languages, Stream Processing Applications, Dataflow Programming Models, Programming Languages for Reconfigurable Computing.
